50.4% of Chinese unsatisfied with current educatio

According to Beijing Youth Daily, China's first survey on college entrance exam conducted on last Sunday reveals that 50.4% of Chinese people are unsatisfied with current education system. But the survey also shows that 73.3% of the respondents think the exam can be fair to most participants. The survey was launched by the Ministry of Education and Beijing Youth Daily.

 

The survey also shows 89.7% of the respondents admit their life has been changed by the exam. One respondent say that he will have a totally different lifestyle if there is no such exam, and 65.5% of the respondents hold similar ideas. More and more exam participants and their relatives are worried about the result of the exam, and some 11.2% of them couldn't sleep before the exam.

 

The survey reveals that 55.9% of Chinese teachers are unsatisfied with the current education system, but more than 95% of teachers also think the exam can make the competition fair.
